Cocoa Drink

  • Yield: 4 servings
  • Exchanges: 1 Skim Milk
  • Serving Size: 1 Cup

INGREDIENTS:

2 tablespoons unsweetened 3 cups skim milk

cocoa Sugar substitute to equal 8

¼ teaspoon salt teaspoons sugar

1 cup water 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

STEPS IN PREPARATION:

  1. Combine cocoa and salt in a small saucepan. Add water, and place over low heat or in top of a double boiler. Boil gently, stirring constantly, 2 minutes.
  2. Add milk and sugar substitute. Bring to a boil, stirring constantly; remove from heat immediately.
  3. Stir in vanilla, and serve warm.
