Career Shift

Nursing is the most in demand profession both locally and internationally but the problem having to employ local nurses here in the Philippines to gain suitable learning experience before going abroad is a BIG problem. Thousands of nursing students graduate each year and thousands of them as well passed the local board exam for nursing but the problem is, there are only quite a number of hospitals that are available to accommodate the graduates. This in return gave an over supply of nurses here in the Philippines.

Meanwhile, accounting jobs are becoming one of the hottest job once again. I remember those times that every classmate of mine want to take up accounting because of it’s job availability. The problem now is there are only a handful of accounting graduates that are left. This could serve as good news to those students that are not yet decided on what to take up in college. This probably is the perfect time to switch career and help our government lessen it’s problem.
